Jadoomi can get back to winning ways and capture a first G1 at Newbury today.

Jadoomi after winning the Boomerang Mile at Leopardstown last September
As a juvenile he showed potential when running third on heavy ground in the Criterium International however, he only had one run as a three-year-old when filling the same spot at Listed level.
At four he put a three-race winning sequence together winning firstly at Listed level in France at Clairefontaine, then backing that up with wins in the Celebration Mile Stakes at Goodwood and then filling the same spot in the Boomerang Mile at Leopardstown, both G2 events.
His last run, last October, was at top level in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot when he finished third to Bayside Boy and Modern Games having looked a winner when dictating the pace only to be caught close home by the pair. Post-race he was reported lame on his right fore.
The ground today is reported as good but just on the soft side of it, conditions he’ll relish. In an open Lockinge, he’s a great chance for in-form trainers, father and son team, Simon and Ed Chrisford, and will have the benefit of the Doyler on his back.
Recommendation
Jadoomi 9/1 ew
